This one is going to be a blast! On Friday, January 20th, Agent 22 will be opening for the amazing Steve Morse. Steve is a "guitarist's guitarist" and among his many accolades, he's won Guitar Player Magazine's readers' poll so many times that they added him to their Gallery of the Greats and made him ineligible to win anymore so that other folks could have a shot! But he's not all technical prowess by any means. Steve is a terrific writer as well with a deep sense of melody and a unique style that to my ears blends things like southern rock, jazz fusion, progressive rock and some celtic music elements.

In addition to his work with his own band, Steve also records and tours with The Dixie Dregs and has been the guitarist for Deep Purple since 1994. He's also worked in the past with acts like Kansas, Michael Manring, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Manuel Barrueco, Jordan Rudess and many others.

I'm also quite excited that we'll be debuting some brand new Agent 22 material at the show. Agent Rymo (drummer/percussionist Ryan Moran) and myself have been working up new music for some time now and along the way we've been incorporating his didgeridoo playing as a fun new element.
